Unrar and burn Nero image to CDR/CDRW disk.  Follow instructions exactly as written below.  Fully tested on PAL (Region 2) machines to convert to multi-region.  It is unlikely that this will work on NTSC (Region 1 etc) to convert to multi-region - you use at your own risk on these machines. Enjoy and share this rip.  Keep filesharing alive.

***Upgrade Instructions***

These Upgrade instructions are valid only for the following Pioneer DVD Recorder units:

DVR-420H, DVR-520H, and DVR-720H

1) Switch on your DVD recorder unit.

2) Eject the DVD tray and insert the upgrade disc. DO NOT CLOSE THE DISC TRAY.

3) Press and hold (on the DVD unit) the STOP button then press the DVD button.  The disc tray will now automatically close and you can release the buttons.

4) After a short delay the disc tray will automatically open.  Remove the upgrade disc but DO NOT CLOSE THE DISC TRAY.

5) Now step away from the unit and allow the software upgrade to occur.  The display will show DOWNLOAD-1 followed by DOWNLOAD-2 then DOWNLOAD-3.  After around 4 minutes the disc tray will automatically close and the DVD recorder unit will switch off.

6) Switch on the DVD recorder unit.  The setup navigator may appear, this will indicate that the installation is almost complete.
 
7) Finally, switch off the DVD recorder unit to complete the installation. 

Congratulations, you have successfully upgraded your DVD unit to multi-region playback.
